Policy Scope
This Refund Policy explains booking deposits, customer cancellations, weather reschedules, operational cancellations, gift vouchers, group bookings, private events, licensed skydiver products, AFF training, refund processing, and exceptional circumstances.
01Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after the required advance, deposit, voucher approval, or written confirmation is received.
- The booking amount reserves instructor capacity, aircraft planning, manifest space, drop zone flow, equipment preparation, and support resources.
- Any balance must be cleared before briefing, gear-up, jump, training, or event activity begins.
- Gateway charges, convenience fees, bank fees, taxes, and third-party charges may be non-refundable unless required by law.
- Written booking-specific terms override general examples where a special package, event, or group quote is issued.
02Cancellation by Customer
Customer cancellations must be submitted in writing through official Skydive India communication channels.
- The cancellation date is the date on which Skydive India receives the written request.
- No refund is due for late arrival, no-show, missing ID, missing medical certificate, failed assessment, unsafe conduct, intoxication, or refusal after preparation.
- Custom arrangements may become non-refundable once confirmed.
- Approved refunds are limited to eligible amounts paid to Skydive India.
03Weather Rescheduling
Weather decisions are safety decisions and may change at short notice.
- Wind, cloud, visibility, rain, turbulence, heat, runway status, airfield conditions, and landing-area status may delay or stop jumps.
- If Skydive India postpones due to weather, participants will be offered a reschedule to an available future slot.
- Weather disruption does not automatically qualify for a cash refund.
- Skydive India is not responsible for travel, accommodation, meals, leave, visa, transport, or personal expenses caused by weather delays.
04Operational Cancellation
Skydive India may cancel, pause, resequence, or reschedule operations for safety or aviation reasons.
- Operational reasons may include aircraft serviceability, airfield restriction, pilot discretion, instructor availability, regulatory direction, force majeure, or emergency conditions.
- If Skydive India cancels and cannot provide a reasonable reschedule, eligible recoverable amounts may be refunded.
- Services already provided may be deducted.
- Operational cancellation decisions by the authorised safety or operations team are final.
05Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are experience credits subject to validity, eligibility, and availability.
- Gift vouchers are generally non-refundable once issued.
- Vouchers may be transferable to another eligible participant within validity if approved before booking confirmation.
- Voucher holders must meet all age, weight, medical, documentation, conduct, and safety requirements.
- Expired vouchers, personalised messages, custom packaging, and specially arranged add-ons are not refundable.
06Group, Corporate & Private Events
Group and event bookings often involve advance capacity blocking and custom planning.
- Group bookings are confirmed only after the required advance or written approval is received.
- Final participant counts, names, eligibility details, and special arrangements must be shared by the deadline communicated.
- Corporate branding, media production, catering, transport, accommodation, event management, or private slot arrangements may be non-refundable once confirmed.
- Weather-related reschedules will be accommodated subject to operational slot availability.
07Licensed Skydivers & AFF Students
Training products and licensed jumper services may follow activity-specific validity and consumption rules.
- Jump tickets, packing tickets, coaching, and training modules may have stated validity periods and usage conditions.
- Unused eligible tickets may be reviewed for refund or credit through the original purchase office or payment channel.
- AFF refunds may deduct modules already commenced, completed, briefed, scheduled, or supported.
- Outside video, instructor time, packing, ground school, and category-specific services may become non-refundable once used or prepared.
08Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed after verification and are normally returned through the original payment method where possible.
- Refund requests must include booking reference, participant name, payment proof, reason, and supporting documents where requested.
- Approved refunds are normally initiated within 7-14 business days after approval.
- Refunds may be adjusted for taxes, payment charges, administrative costs, third-party charges, and services already provided.
- Cash refunds are not guaranteed for payments made digitally or through gateways.
09Exceptional Circumstances
Exceptional cases may be reviewed with discretion and documentation.
- Serious illness, hospitalisation, bereavement, government restriction, or verified emergency may be reviewed with proof.
- Possible outcomes may include reschedule, voucher credit, partial refund, or reschedule fee waiver.
- Exceptional approval is discretionary and does not create automatic entitlement for future bookings.
- Medical concerns should be disclosed before arrival wherever possible.
