Safety Commitment

At Skydive India, powered by Macsen Aviation Pvt. Ltd., safety is integrated into booking review, documentation, medical disclosure, equipment preparation, aircraft coordination, instructor briefing, weather assessment, emergency readiness, and post-jump review.

01Operational Standards

Skydiving activities are planned and conducted through defined procedures and professional supervision.

  • Operations follow structured processes for check-in, manifest, briefing, gear-up, aircraft loading, exit, canopy flight, landing, and post-jump movement.
  • Activities are coordinated with relevant aviation, airfield, drop zone, weather, and operational requirements.
  • Jump release depends on aircraft readiness, instructor readiness, equipment status, weather suitability, participant preparedness, and manifest approval.
  • Safety decisions by authorised instructors, pilots, and operations personnel are final.

02Instructor Qualifications

Participants are guided by trained skydiving professionals with role-specific operational responsibilities.

  • Instructor assignments are based on activity type, participant suitability, operational schedule, and applicable rating or training requirements.
  • Instructors guide briefing, harness fitting, aircraft preparation, exit, freefall, canopy flight, landing, and post-landing instructions.
  • Team members may receive recurrent briefings, procedure updates, emergency refreshers, and site-specific operational guidance.
  • An instructor may decline or defer a jump if participant condition, conduct, documentation, weather, or equipment readiness is unsuitable.

03Aircraft Operations

Aircraft operations are managed as a central safety component of the skydive.

  • Aircraft are operated by qualified aviation professionals according to applicable operating limitations and aviation requirements.
  • Pre-flight coordination may include passenger loading, weight and balance considerations, exit order, pilot-instructor communication, and airfield status.
  • Participants must follow boarding, seating, restraint, door, climb, exit, and landing instructions without deviation.
  • Aircraft-related delays or cancellations may occur due to serviceability, pilot discretion, airspace activity, runway status, or regulatory instruction.

04Equipment Standards

Skydiving equipment is prepared, handled, checked, and monitored by trained personnel.

  • Parachute systems, harnesses, containers, reserve systems, altimeters, helmets, goggles, and accessories are selected according to activity and participant suitability.
  • Equipment checks are completed before use and may be repeated at multiple operational stages.
  • Specialist components are maintained according to applicable manufacturer, rigger, and operational requirements.
  • Participants must not alter, remove, adjust, or interfere with equipment unless instructed by authorised personnel.

05Participant Briefings

Every participant receives structured guidance before the activity and must be able to follow instructions.

  • Briefings may cover documentation, medical declaration, gear fitting, aircraft behaviour, exit position, freefall body position, canopy flight, landing posture, and emergency cues.
  • Participants must ask questions before boarding if any instruction is unclear.
  • Guidance may continue during check-in, gear-up, aircraft loading, climb, exit, canopy flight, landing, and post-landing movement.
  • Unsafe behaviour, intoxication, aggression, refusal, or deliberate non-compliance may result in removal without refund.

06Weather Assessment

Weather is continuously reviewed because safe skydiving requires suitable conditions from takeoff to landing.

  • Wind speed, wind direction, gusts, turbulence, visibility, cloud base, rain, thermal activity, runway condition, and landing-area conditions are assessed.
  • Weather decisions may change quickly and may differ between operating windows.
  • The operations team may hold, resequence, reschedule, or cancel jumps if conditions fall outside acceptable limits.
  • Participants should keep the full activity day flexible and avoid tight same-day onward commitments.

07Emergency Procedures

Emergency readiness is part of planning, briefing, communication, and drop zone control.

  • Procedures may address aircraft abnormal events, canopy events, off-field landings, medical response, ground incidents, weather changes, and restricted-area control.
  • Emergency contact information, medical disclosures, and participant records support response planning where required.
  • Ground teams coordinate communication, landing-area control, first response, and escalation to local emergency services where needed.
  • Participants and spectators must follow emergency instructions immediately and avoid restricted operational areas.

08Continuous Improvement

Safety is strengthened through operational review, training, feedback, and refinement.

  • Operations may be reviewed after jump days, weather holds, equipment observations, participant feedback, incidents, or procedural changes.
  • Briefing content, training, signage, manifest flow, documentation, and team coordination may be updated as required.
  • Safety observations from instructors, pilots, ground crew, participants, and management are treated as part of improvement culture.
  • Skydive India may update this Safety Policy as locations, equipment, aviation requirements, operating procedures, or best practices evolve.

09Risk Awareness

Skydiving is an adventure sport with inherent risk even under professional supervision.

  • Risks may arise from aircraft movement, exit, freefall, parachute deployment, canopy flight, landing, weather shifts, equipment behaviour, or participant error.
  • Participants must complete waiver and risk acknowledgement documents before participation.
  • Honest medical disclosure and full compliance with instructions are essential safety requirements.
  • Skydive India may refuse participation if risk is considered unacceptable.

10Visitor & Drop Zone Control

Drop zone safety depends on controlled movement by participants, visitors, staff, and vendors.

  • Visitors must remain in authorised areas and follow instructions from Skydive India personnel.
  • Restricted areas may include aircraft movement zones, packing zones, briefing areas, landing areas, runway areas, and operations desks.
  • Children, spectators, photographers, and guests must not interfere with aircraft, equipment, instructors, pilots, or landing operations.
  • Unsafe visitor conduct may result in removal from the premises.

Our Safety Position

The thrill of skydiving depends on professional discipline. Skydive India will always prioritise safe operational judgement over convenience, speed, celebration plans, media capture, commercial pressure, or customer preference.
