Static Line : First step towards Solo Skydiving

Take Control of Your First Skydive

For those who want more than just a passenger experience, Static Line Skydiving offers the opportunity to take the first real step into the world of independent skydiving.

Unlike tandem skydiving, where you remain attached to an instructor throughout the jump, a static line jump allows you to exit the aircraft on your own after completing the required training. A specially designed static line automatically deploys your parachute shortly after exit, allowing you to focus on canopy flight and landing procedures.

With guidance from experienced instructors and a structured training program, you will learn the essential skills needed to begin your journey as a solo skydiver.

GROUND TRAINING

Ground Training

Every static line jump begins with comprehensive ground training. Participants are introduced to the parachute system, harness, altimeter & all essential equipment before boarding the aircraft. Training includes aircraft procedures, safety checks, and practical demonstrations covering the complete jump sequence. This preparation builds familiarity, confidence & understanding, ensuring participants are fully prepared for their first solo static line skydive.

CANOPY FLIGHT & LANDING

Canopy Control

Canopy flight training teaches participants how to safely control and navigate their parachute after deployment. Instruction covers steering techniques, wind awareness, flight patterns, altitude management, and landing preparation. Participants learn how to make informed decisions while under canopy and follow a controlled descent path. These skills help ensure a safe approach, accurate navigation, and a smooth landing experience.

AIRCRAFT ASCENT

Safety Procedures

Safety remains the highest priority throughout the entire skydiving experience. Before every jump, participants receive a detailed safety briefing covering aircraft procedures, exit techniques, body position, canopy navigation, landing methods, and emergency protocols. The session explains both normal and unexpected situations, ensuring participants understand the complete jump sequence and can respond confidently and appropriately when required.

SOLO EXIT & PARACHUTE DEPLOYMENT

Equipment Provided

All required skydiving equipment is provided as part of the Static Line Skydiving program. This includes professionally maintained parachute systems, harnesses, helmets, altimeters, and other essential safety gear. Every item is regularly inspected and maintained according to operational standards. Instructors verify proper fit, comfort, and equipment readiness before participants board the aircraft and begin their jump.

What is Static Line Skydiving?

Static Line Skydiving is one of the most established and widely used methods of learning to skydive independently. During the jump, your parachute is connected to the aircraft by a static line, which automatically deploys the canopy moments after you leave the aircraft.

This method allows first-time solo jumpers to experience the thrill of exiting the aircraft independently while developing the skills required to safely control and land a parachute. It provides an excellent foundation for anyone interested in progressing further in the sport of skydiving.

Five Static Line Jumps Under Instructor Supervision

The complete Static Line Program includes five static line jumps conducted under the direct supervision of certified instructors. The program is designed to progressively build confidence, practical skills, and a deeper understanding of independent skydiving procedures.

Each jump builds upon the lessons learned during the previous one, allowing participants to gradually become more comfortable with aircraft exits, canopy control, navigation, and landing techniques. Throughout the program, instructors provide continuous guidance and feedback to support safe and effective skill development.
